Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from physical work sites, surveys, blueprints, GIS data, subsurface utility information, maps, and geotechnical data
  • •Provide entry-level technical assistance for the design, development, and construction of overhead transmission lines (69kV to 765kV) and help with assigned design documentation
  • •Assist with research, inspections, and determining conformance with applicable rules, standards, and construction or operating permits
  • •Execute engineering calculations using concepts from structural analysis, concrete/steel design, soil mechanics, foundation design, and surveying
  • •Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic systems, drawings, and field/work site notebooks/logs

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in an accredited engineering undergraduate program (civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.) with an anticipated graduation date of August 2027 or later
