Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, pay out, and process transactions including cash, negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Set up, close, and balance the teller station; balance vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine as assigned.
  • •Record sales of monetary instruments and scan bank documents and proof work.
  • •Assist customers with inquiries in person or by telephone while maintaining a neat and well-stocked teller area.
  • •Cross-sell bank products and services and follow bank policies and procedures, including BSA/AML and other compliance training.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to perform teller duties including receiving/paying cash and handling negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Equivalent of four years high school or GED, with 19 to 23 months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Strong communication skills to respond to customers and general public in person and by telephone.
  • •Mathematical skills for adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing amounts using money and measurements.
  • •Ability to exercise critical thinking and sound judgment when applying holds and making check-cashing decisions.
