Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, modify, maintain, test, diagnose, and repair electrical and electronic equipment and systems used for pipeline control, instrumentation, indication, and operations.
  • •Calibrate electrical and electronic equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
  • •Maintain data transmission and computer-directed data communication equipment related to product movement, metering, leak surveillance, and power optimization programs.
  • •Diagnose equipment problems and correct circuit faults in contractor-installed equipment.
  • •Provide HAZWOPER support, assist in repairs/maintenance/operations, and support emergency response activities.

Key Requirements

  • •4-year Electrical Engineering Technology degree (or 2-year Electrical Technology degree with experience equivalent to a 4-year degree) and understanding of installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and electronic equipment.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot PLCs.
  • •Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the Company Insurance Carrier.
  • •Ability to use multimeters, meg-ohmmeter, oscilloscope, and other electrical/electronic tools.
  • •Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and email) and ability to read and interpret equipment schematics, plot plans, diagrams, and prints.
