Job Summary

Lead Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) excellence across a manufacturing site by driving statutory compliance, process safety, environmental sustainability, and risk management. Manage contractor safety and work permits, coordinate government inspections and regulatory liaisoning, oversee emergency preparedness, and ensure timely renewals and statutory reporting. Deliver safety culture initiatives, incident investigations, audits, KPIs, and continuous improvement programs, while monitoring ETP/STP operations and hazardous waste handling in line with Karnataka regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and implement EHS strategy and governance to ensure statutory compliance, process safety, environmental sustainability, and risk management at the manufacturing site.
•Manage contractor safety programs including onboarding, compliance verification, audits, permit monitoring, and safety performance reviews.
•Oversee environmental management activities such as air emissions, water consumption, effluent treatment (ETP/STP), hazardous waste handling, and compliance with Karnataka requirements.
•Coordinate government liaisoning, inspections, statutory audits, license/permit renewals, and timely submission of statutory returns and compliance reports.
•Drive safety culture initiatives, conduct hazard identification and risk assessments, lead incident/near-miss investigations, and monitor EHS KPIs and continuous improvement actions.

Key Requirements

•Regular bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Civil/Environmental with Post Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety from a reputed institute.
•7 to 10 years of work experience (preferred).
•Strong capability to lead EHS statutory compliance and risk management programs across a manufacturing site.
•Experience coordinating emergency response, safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations (including root cause analysis).
•Ability to manage contractor safety, work permits, and implementation of safety procedures in line with regulatory requirements.

Experience:7-10 years
