Location: United States
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Design (Product/UX/UI/Visual)

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead hardware failure analysis and root cause ownership for server PCBA bring-up, factory, customer, and system-level issues.
  • •Own technical FA across distribution paths, VRs, hot-swap circuits, connectors/cables, sequencing, and related motherboard/high-speed IO interactions.
  • •Identify failure drivers across design, layout, component quality, manufacturing process, diagnostics, configuration, firmware-controlled behavior, and platform interactions.
  • •Develop diagnostic strategy and execute structured debug plans using design reviews, oscilloscope captures, logic analyzer traces, imaging, electrical measurements, telemetry, and platform logs.
  • •Automate debug and correlation using Python/Linux/SQL and lead cross-functional RCA reviews and 8D-style documentation to drive corrective actions to closure.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on server PCBA debugging experience, including power distribution paths, PDBs, bridge boards, rails/VRs, and high-speed IO behavior.
  • •Ability to review schematics and layouts and apply SI/PI fundamentals to isolate electrical failures.
  • •Perform component- and board-level electrical debug (e.g., shorts/opens, rail droop, sequencing failures, connector/interconnect issues) and build evidence-based conclusions.
  • •Define and execute structured diagnostic strategy using oscilloscope/logic analyzer/protocol tools, imaging, measurements, and lab validation equipment.
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience).
