Key Responsibilities

  • •Gain a deep understanding of Global Trade Solutions, including trade cycles, payment options, products, documentation, and risks.
  • •Help clients unlock opportunities across global markets using working capital and trade finance solutions from structuring through execution.
  • •Prepare letters of credit and maintain accurate reporting and records for deals, trade volumes, payments, and currency movements.
  • •Use tools to identify and manage risks, including operational and reputational risks, and perform sanctions screenings and AML checks.
  • •Analyze data to support pitches and contribute to client materials, making recommendations that balance risk with opportunity.

Key Requirements

  • •Be available to work full time from July 2027 onwards.
  • •Be a recent graduate with less than 2 years’ full-time work experience, or be due to graduate by July 2027.
  • •Have obtained (or expect to achieve) a minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0 or 3.2/4.0 (or overseas equivalent).
  • •Be fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • •Be legally permitted to work in mainland China for the full duration of the graduate programme and beyond, without requiring HSBC visa sponsorship.
