Job Summary

Join the Construction Supervision team to monitor and promote health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance on a major infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. You’ll support the Resident Engineer and Construction Management team through site inspections, contractor audits, incident investigations, and maintenance of project HSE management systems. The role also covers environmental compliance activities and fostering a strong safety culture across client, contractor, and subcontractor teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor contractor compliance with approved HSE plans, procedures, and risk assessments.
•Conduct routine site inspections and safety audits to identify unsafe conditions and practices.
•Review method statements, risk assessments, lifting plans, and permit-to-work systems from an HSE perspective.
•Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe acts, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
•Prepare and maintain HSE records, reports, inspection logs, and performance statistics; support environmental compliance activities (waste management, dust control, noise monitoring, pollution prevention).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
•Minimum 8 years of HSE experience within construction projects.
•At least 5 years of experience on infrastructure construction supervision projects (e.g., roads, highways, utilities, bridges, drainage, public realm, or transportation).
•Proven experience working for engineering, supervision, or project management consultants (PMC).
•Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and construction safety standards, including a NEBOSH International General Certificate.
