Key Responsibilities

•Conduct preventive or promotive healthcare services for patients according to DOH General Practitioner privileges and standard protocols.
•Examine and talk with patients to diagnose conditions; provide general care in hospital wards and outpatient clinics.
•Prescribe medicines and follow protocols for lab tests and radiology; maintain treatment and referral notes.
•Observe patients for short periods as needed, refer to specialists/consultants when required, and coordinate with medical and non-medical staff.
•Perform DOH reporting per statutory/regulatory guidelines; participate in healthcare camps/CSR activities and support home visits and patient transfer.
•accompany for home visits if deployed
•should be willing to travel out of UAE for patient transfer, if need be
•Conduct preventive or promotive healthcare services for any patients coming in should follow standard protocols as per privileges of General Practitioner defined by DOH.
•Follow protocols regarding prescribing medicines/lab tests and Radiology.

Key Requirements

•Graduation from an approved medical school plus one year of internship.
•At least three years of practice as a GP.
•Must have license to practice by DOH.
•Excellent command of oral and written English; Arabic desirable but not mandatory.
