Build and maintain automation that improves reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency for Cisco’s global cloud platform. Work on deployment pipelines, testing frameworks, and operational tooling supporting infrastructure across thousands of machines. Troubleshoot complex distributed systems to ensure high availability and address performance issues, and partner across engineering, product, and business teams to deliver improvements that reduce operational overhead.

•Develop and maintain automation to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency across global cloud environments.
•Design and enhance deployment pipelines, testing frameworks, and operational tooling to support platform growth.
•Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and distributed systems issues to ensure high availability and address performance/scalability challenges.
•Build automation that enables rapid and repeatable deployment of new sovereign, regional, and purpose-built cloud environments.
•Partner with engineering, product management, and business partners across time zones to understand dependencies and deliver reliability improvements while reducing operational overhead.

Salary: USD 152,500 - 219,200 annually

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related role supporting cloud-based production environments.
•Experience developing and maintaining infrastructure automation using Ansible.
•Programming in Ruby and developing automated tests using RSpec (or comparable testing frameworks).
•Experience administering and troubleshooting Linux-based systems and distributed infrastructure environments.
•Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab CI.
