Job Summary

Build and maintain scalable backend enterprise applications in a Global Capability Center, using Java and Spring Boot to deliver secure, high-performance services. Design REST and GraphQL APIs and microservices architectures that are resilient and available. Collaborate with architects, product managers, and onshore teams on complex integrations, mentor junior developers, and troubleshoot production issues while improving performance, scalability, reliability, and CI/CD automation.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
•Build and enhance RESTful and GraphQL APIs for enterprise-scale applications.
•Design and develop microservices-based architectures with high availability and resilience.
•Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
•Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability; implement CI/CD with automated tests and troubleshoot production issues, while mentoring junior developers.

•5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
•Strong programming expertise in Java 8/11/17+.
•Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
•Strong knowledge of GraphQL development and API design principles, including building/consuming REST APIs.
•Experience designing microservices architectures and working with relational/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DB2, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
