Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, validate, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes for assigned areas (machining, assembly, test, kit fabrication, engineered plastic parts, insert molded and injection molded fabrication processes).
  • •Create, revise, and maintain NC programs and manufacturing documentation including fixturing, tooling, standard work, inspection plans, and assembly/test instructions.
  • •Evaluate manufacturing methods, equipment, tooling, and plastic resins to improve cost reduction, manufacturability, quality, and product performance.
  • •Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workflow, production flow, assembly methods, space/equipment layout, and process capability while maintaining quality standards.
  • •Lead cost analysis and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, 5S) and support production traceability, configuration control, and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • •3+ years of CAD/CAM software experience (Siemens NX preferred)
  • •3+ years of experience in machining, metal cutting, plastics manufacturing, injection molding, or related production environments
  • •Experience with varied metallurgies (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel alloys, titanium, Hastelloy, aluminum)
  • •Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted
