Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely over required routes, obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas, follow loading crew signals, and assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment.
  • •Maintain and deliver required documentation (invoices and bills of lading) and other paperwork after routes are completed.
  • •Perform routine service on trucks (e.g., checking oil, water, gasoline, air) and report maintenance malfunctions.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license as required by state for the weight of the vehicle.
  • •Pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state transportation regulations.
  • •Pass a DOT physical since trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and work in a safety-sensitive role that may require a drug screen.
