Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and manage environmental assessments and remediation for contaminated sites across Alberta.
  • •Prepare proposals, cost estimates, schedules for field staff and subcontractors, and compile data for reports with conclusions and recommendations.
  • •Own project delivery and project accounting, including tracking and reporting requirements.
  • •Train and mentor junior staff in environmental practices such as Phase I/II ESAs, drilling, surveying, groundwater sampling, and remediation oversight.
  • •Interface with clients to ensure needs are met and projects/proposals move forward, and support Alberta market business growth planning.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree or diploma in engineering or natural/earth sciences.
  • •10+ years of experience in contaminated site assessments and conceptual site models across multiple market sectors.
  • •Ability to apply health and safety procedures and maintain a safety-conscious attitude.
  • •Proven track record in business development with a growth mindset, including creating opportunities and delivering projects.
  • •Experience participating in proposal preparation, cost estimation, field staff/subcontractor scheduling, and report writing with conclusions and recommendations.
