Key Responsibilities

  • •Research and develop world models enabling AI agents to understand, simulate, and reason about complex environments.
  • •Design and run experiments in model-based learning to shape how AI agents perceive and interact with the world.
  • •Contribute to on-device LLM/VLM research, adaptive inference methods, and mobile ML systems that align with commercialization goals.
  • •Conduct cutting-edge research within the team’s agenda and help shape it.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to integrate ML solutions into consumer devices and document results through papers and patent applications.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD in CS/EE or related research experience in academia or industry.
  • •Experience with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) and efficient ML (quantization, pruning, sparsification, distillation).
  • •Experience deploying ML on embedded/mobile devices (e.g., smartphones) using mobile CPU/GPU/NPU.
  • •Experience with distributed and multi-GPU training at scale.
  • •Fluency in Python, C/C++ and GNU Linux, plus version control with Git/GitHub and strong research/publishing track record.
