Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently design, develop, deploy, and maintain end-to-end reconciliation and reporting solutions (matching logic, dashboards, exception queues, settlement summaries, and standardized journals).
  • •Own time-sensitive daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations and manage discrepancies from detection through root cause, corrective action, and control improvements.
  • •Translate ambiguous business, finance, and regulatory needs into concrete metrics and measurement systems (e.g., match rates, break aging, SLAs).
  • •Serve as a subject matter expert on settlement, funding, and money-movement flows; field questions on transaction lifecycles, data models, and reconciliation systems.
  • •Own automated SQL-based reporting and partner with data engineering to design, build, validate, troubleshoot, and maintain datasets and pipelines; support month-end close and audits.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of related experience in reconciliation, settlement, payment operations, accounting, or finance analytics with a Bachelor's degree (or 3+ years with a Master's degree, or equivalent experience).
  • •Expert-level SQL ownership for automated SQL-based reporting, including navigating new datasets to answer complex questions independently.
  • •Independently owning reconciliation, settlement, or financial reporting workstreams end to end, including defining metrics and driving adoption.
  • •Strong knowledge of accounting principles, double-entry concepts, and money-movement mechanics to judge correctness and completeness of financial data.
  • •Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with reconciliation tooling and banking portals; strong communication with senior stakeholders.
