Job Summary

Advise clients on developing and optimizing procurement and funding strategies for greener, sustainable programmes aligned to Net Zero targets. You’ll assess business challenges, shape optimal solutions, and support delivery across the programme lifecycle using tailored processes and tools. Work within a multidisciplinary team to present ideas clearly, ensure high-quality client care, and help progress business generation opportunities while being flexible to travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Support clients in developing, implementing, and optimizing procurement and funding strategies aligned to Net Zero targets.
•Understand factors influencing programme set-up, development, and delivery across the programme lifecycle, with emphasis on business case development and major infrastructure development using private capital.
•Assess business challenges, develop optimal solutions, and contribute to implementation of those solutions.
•Tailor established processes, tools, and systems to specific circumstances and contribute to continuous improvement.
•Use strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills to support adoption of business outcomes and deliver excellent client care.

Key Requirements

•Degree, Masters, or MBA qualification (or equivalent experience).
•Experience in project finance and/or business case development, preferably in decarbonisation and Net Zero, renewable energy, defence, or water.
•Experience working with the public sector, including managing transactions/projects in public-sector delivery settings.
•Understanding of UK policy guidance for economic benefit assessment, including social value, community benefits, and low carbon transition.
•Ability to prepare, define, and lead on bid proposals and work closely with senior management and the wider team.
