Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and refine requirements and develop verification artifacts for satellite electrical power and/or harness subsystems.
  • •Perform detailed power subsystem analyses including battery performance modeling and battery charge management, bus voltage regulation/stability (ripple and transients), and redundancy/fault-tolerance strategies.
  • •Conduct harness analyses such as voltage drop calculations, fuse blow assessments, short circuit clearing, and FMEA.
  • •Develop, maintain, and update vehicle-level power budgets for all mission phases and assume end-to-end ownership of the EPS/harness subsystem throughout the spacecraft lifecycle.
  • •Lead power subsystem architecture and sizing (block diagrams, solar array sizing, battery capacity determination) and collaborate with thermal, mechanical, software, and avionics teams to ensure design integrity.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering/scientific/analytical discipline, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
