Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor offshore production chemical programs to assess impact on production, integrity, and environmental parameters.
  • •Optimize production chemical programs and conduct hydrocarbon, water, and gas sampling for routine laboratory analysis.
  • •Perform laboratory analysis of hydrocarbon, water, and gas samples following approved procedures.
  • •Maintain laboratory equipment and records, and manage site inventories of production and laboratory chemicals.
  • •Assist in troubleshooting production upsets and issues, including chemical field trials as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Be qualified as a laboratory chemist (degree, diploma, or equivalent industry experience).
  • •Have at least 3 years of experience in oil and gas or a similar process chemistry position (preferred).

  • •Understand production processes and systems from downhole to pipeline distribution.
  • •Use computer-based programs related to the application and monitoring of products.
