Job Summary

Maintain accurate project bookkeeping and accounting records in line with IFRS and company policies. Prepare monthly trial balances, accruals/provisions, aging reports, reconciliations, and cash flow forecasts. Support external audits, manage payroll accounting processes, and produce managerial financial reports and analyses for stakeholders. Act as the focal point for tax authorities by preparing, filing, and maintaining tax reporting and compliance documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Record project business transactions in the General Ledger in compliance with reporting/accounting standards and company policies.
•Prepare monthly trial balances, accruals/provisions, and ensure accurate and timely closing of books.
•Perform IFRS-compliant reconciliations for bank accounts, customers/vendors, and balance sheet accounts; prepare aging reports for AP/AR.
•Manage payroll functions and accounting processes, including payroll administration, compensation preparation, and monitoring timesheets and leaves.
•Support external audits and act as the focal point for tax authorities by preparing and filing tax reporting and payments in accordance with applicable laws.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with a mandatory ACCA (or equivalent) professional qualification.
•4–6 years’ experience in accounting within infrastructure, construction, or project environments.
•Strong IFRS knowledge with hands-on exposure to General Ledger, reporting, AP/AR, reconciliations, and audits.
•Experience in tax compliance, cash flow management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
•Solid understanding of accounting systems and internal controls, with the ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
