Lead the evolution of Monzo’s global FX strategy, bridging Treasury with Data, Product, and Engineering to build scalable automated execution. Own FX risk management and hedging approaches, including in-housing FX to unlock revenue. Partner on FX product launches and enhance internal FX capabilities while ensuring robust risk controls.

•Own the FX execution framework, proposing enhancements to policies, controls, and systems.
•Expand Monzo’s global currency footprint and lead Treasury readiness for new markets with robust risk controls in a multi-entity framework.

Salary: GBP 93,500 - 115,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Demonstrable experience in a high-paced, high-flow FX environment covering a broad range of currencies.
•Proven proficiency executing and managing live exposure across spot, forwards, swaps, and NDFs.
•Analytical rigour and familiarity with large data analysis; proficiency in Python or SQL preferred.
•Strategic communication skills to translate technical Treasury topics for Product and Engineering stakeholders.
•A relevant professional qualification (CFA preferred).
