Backend Engineer, Recommendation Architecture (ByteDance Singapore)

Build and optimize backend architecture for large-scale recommendation systems to deliver stable, high-performing user experiences. Own the development of online services and globalized platforms, including efficient data pipelines for candidate/profile/training generation and real-time online training. Design high-performance computing frameworks, storage systems, and software components while researching and improving recommendation, search, and ML-related capabilities. Partner with hardware engineers to integrate systems and define performance requirements.
