Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and submit export license applications and monitor follow-ups with government authorities to support timely approvals.
  • •Develop and maintain trade control plans, aligning procedures and guidelines with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
  • •Conduct end user undertaking reviews and assess documentation to resolve discrepancies with stakeholders.
  • •Submit and support BIS SNAP-R license applications, liaising with BIS and other stakeholders as needed.
  • •Review and approve technology transfer authorisations and portable electronic device requests, conduct denied party list reviews and ad hoc screening, and provide training and guidance on sanctions and embargoes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in International Business, International Trade/Trade Compliance Law, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Political Science/International Relations, or Engineering (advantage), or 7+ years of industry experience in export compliance with continuous professional development.
  • •Professional certifications preferred in export compliance, international trade compliance, customs and trade compliance, or sanctions/export controls training.
  • •Strong knowledge of EU dual-use regulations, UK export control regulations, and U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
  • •Experience preparing and managing export license applications, BIS SNAP-R applications, and general correspondence related to trade compliance.
  • •Ability to provide training and guidance as a subject matter expert on sanctions, embargoes, and other trade-related matters.
