Key Responsibilities

  • •Define, implement, and continuously evolve the enterprise Quality Management Strategy and integrated QMS across engineering, maintenance, projects, and supply chain.
  • •Act as the enterprise authority for quality governance by establishing policies, standards, procedures, technical specifications, and assurance frameworks aligned to requirements and international standards.
  • •Provide independent assurance over critical processes across the asset lifecycle (design, sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance) to ensure compliance.
  • •Lead quality assurance, audit, inspection, and process maturity programmes to drive consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • •Partner with Supply Chain leadership to embed quality into strategic sourcing and supplier governance, including supplier qualification, performance monitoring, vendor development, and risk-based global supplier assurance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain, or a related technical discipline.
  • •10+ years of progressive leadership experience in quality management, supplier quality, engineering assurance, asset integrity, manufacturing quality, or operational excellence in relevant heavy industry/mining sectors.
  • •Experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide quality management frameworks across complex, geographically dispersed operations.
  • •Proven ability to influence strategic sourcing decisions through supplier qualification, technical governance, risk assessment, and quality assurance processes.
  • •Strong understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 principles and quality governance frameworks.
