Key Responsibilities

•Handle revenue reconciliations including store and e-commerce; manage aged receivables and monitor collections; assist with cash reconciliations and float deliveries
•Prepare recharge invoices for non-retail clients; generate sales reports; resolve enquiries from TRS/Insurance and assist in retail system issues
•Month-end and year-end tasks: reconcile interfaces and bank reconciliations; balance sheet reconciliations; produce turnover reports; assist external auditing
•Support governance reviews, finance-related training for stores, stock-takes, and ad-hoc finance projects
•Ensure compliance with Hermès group policies and statutory requirements in all accounting activities

Key Requirements

•Tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance; CA or CPA qualification
•3+ years’ experience in Assistant Accountant or AR-focused role, ideally within retail or multi-site environment
•Strong reconciliation and month-end close experience; ERP experience (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills (MS Office, Magnitude, Cegid)
•High attention to detail and ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines; ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
•Full working rights within Australia
