Job Summary

Provide daily production line support to keep operations running smoothly while improving efficiency and product quality. Lead process improvement efforts, optimize fixtures and tools, and reduce cost and improve safety. Manage welding process responsibilities, including pressure vessel welding, and plan/execute welder training and certification. Standardize station/product work using SOE, apply Kaizen/RIE/projects for continuous improvement, and support quality issue root-cause prevention alongside EHS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide daily production line support and resolve line issues promptly to ensure quality and safe production.
•Standardize station/product work and determine standard time (SOE) to reduce SOE and improve efficiency and cost via Kaizen, RIE, or projects.
•Optimize fixtures and tools to improve efficiency, safety, and reduce cost.
•Lead production line improvement projects, such as new equipment/process introductions or replacements, and prepare welding process documents for new products according to relevant codes (e.g., GB Code, ASME).
•Arrange and execute annual welder training and certification, and support quality improvement by finding root causes to prevent recurrence, while carrying out EHS work.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in welding or mechanical engineering.
•Minimum 5 years of manufacturing/plant operations experience, including at least 3 years in pressure vessel welding process experience.
•Good experience implementing Lean/LEAN practices.
•Skilled with AutoCAD, Pro/E, and MS Office.
•Project management experience and good communication skills.
