Job Summary

Provide on-site support for semiconductor process equipment, including installations, diagnoses, and repair of complex systems. Partner with customers to develop leading-edge thin-film manufacturing processes. Design hypothesis and DOE experiments, analyze data with statistics, and deliver technical reports. Troubleshoot difficult process and product issues using root-cause analysis, and coordinate with internal teams and customers to build trust. Serve as a resource for junior colleagues and liaison to the business unit.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and service/repair of complex equipment.
•Work with customers to develop leading-edge thin-film processes for advanced semiconductor chip manufacturing.
•Create hypothesis and design of experiments (DOE); analyze data with statistics; compile reports with high-level conclusions.
•Troubleshoot complex problems, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve difficult process engineering and customer product issues.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.

•Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain sensitive information and build consensus among stakeholders.
•Ability to work closely with the customer at the customer’s site/cleanroom daily.
