Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance and services on military and commercial generators and HVAC systems.
  • •Maintain and repair 3kW to 150kW generators, including installation/removal from fixed and mobile locations, and service AC/DC and electronic control systems.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, chillers, and environmental control units (including units mounted on trailers/vehicles).
  • •Maintain commercial power generation equipment, military-spec generators, and UPS systems.
  • •Operate a load bank during testing and fabricate wire harnesses and solder terminals; perform other assigned duties.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently possess a Secret security clearance and be able to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
  • •High school diploma and relevant generator/HVAC experience (e.g., BA/BS + 2 years; AA/AS + 4 years; or high school + 7 years).
  • •Extensive diesel generator experience, including knowledge of generator parallel systems and switch gear.
  • •Experience with brazing copper tubing and evacuating/recharging refrigerant for HVAC systems.
  • •Valid US driver’s license (plus international driver’s permit) and US passport not expiring for at least 2 years.
