Job Summary

Manage Visa’s global Accounts Payable function, overseeing regional Payables Leads and enforcing a strong control environment across a multi-currency, international landscape. Drive efficiency through automation, paid-on-time metrics, PO utilization, and error reduction, while partnering with Global Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and a centralized Center of Excellence. Lead process and system enhancements in key Finance platforms (including Ariba and Oracle) and support audit/SOX validation.

•Oversee the global Accounts Payable function and key operational metrics, including invoice automation, paid-on-time, PO utilization, and processing error reduction.
•Manage regional Payables leads across multiple geographies and drive best-practice standards for the global function.
•Collaborate with a centralized Center of Excellence to improve turnaround time and operational efficiency.
•Partner with global finance leaders to enhance processes, systems, and tools, streamlining operations as business scales.
•Serve as primary liaison for internal audit and SOX testing and validation while instilling continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma methods.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or 3+ years with a PhD.
•Experience managing global payables organizations and governing complex payables issues, including foreign currency transactions.
•Experience using ERP systems and managing global payables ledgers, with working knowledge of accounting segments.
•Experience managing a finance team in a commercial multi-national environment.
•Sound experience managing internal and external audits and supporting SOX testing/validation.
