Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical design of IDS and ACS for secured space construction and renovation in accordance with ICD-705/IC Tech Spec v1.5.1, 32 CFR 117.15, and accrediting authority guidance.
  • •Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and gap analyses; produce sensor coverage drawings, riser diagrams, routing/conveyance per ICD-705, and encryption provisions per FIPS.
  • •Author and maintain technical standards, drawing details, and bills of material for IDS/ACS installations, including specified UL devices and installation extents.
  • •Specify, validate, and lifecycle-manage approved hardware platforms (e.g., Lenel OnGuard, Genetec, DMP, Bosch) and coordinate commissioning with relevant authorities.
  • •Own semi-annual testing, false-alarm investigation, corrective and preventive maintenance, and develop SOPs for technical security operations and alarm response.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of progressive security experience, preferably in a multi-national corporation or Federal entity.
  • •Ability to develop and enforce technical security policies and procedures for classified environments.
  • •Commissioning experience with IDS/ACS in secured environments, including final acceptance testing under accrediting authority review.
  • •Existing active SECRET clearance.
  • •Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior leadership and construction/stakeholder teams.
