Shutdown Specialist

Plan and schedule mill shutdowns to reduce production losses while ensuring activities are executed safely, on time, and within budget. Develop shutdown plans, budgets, manpower schedules, and critical-path schedules, then coordinate cross-functional teams—including maintenance, operations, engineering, safety, and contractors—to deliver shutdown work packages. Lead shutdown meetings, monitor costs and variances, conduct post-shutdown reviews, and maintain detailed documentation to continuously improve outage processes.
