Key Responsibilities

•Develop verification and validation strategies and co-lead system V&V activities on Fire Alarm control panels and devices.
•Extend the internally developed test framework and utilize it to perform automated and manual tests, including robotics, computer vision, and sensor simulation.
•Define and develop automated test plans, test cases, and procedures; deliver automated scripts and provide updates to management.
•Collaborate with development teams to create component and system test plans, test framework, and code; work with cross-functional product teams.
•Mentor and lead a team (two or more), demonstrate hands-on Lab experience, and communicate results effectively to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical, or Mechanical or 10 years of Fire industry experience.
•Minimum 5 years experience working in Test Engineering, Test Automation, or related experience.
•Minimum 5 years experience collaborating with development teams to create component and system test plans, Test framework, and code.
•Minimum 5 years strong testing and troubleshooting skills.
•Programming experience in Python, LabView, OpenCV or equivalent; operating systems experience in Ubuntu, Linux and Windows; DevSecOps tools experience in Jira, Jira Align, GitHub, Confluence.
