Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with Account Executives and cross-functional stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and pursue Visa Direct opportunities across regional and community financial institutions.
  • •Execute sales strategies and account plans to grow Visa Direct adoption and transaction volume among financial institutions.
  • •Consult with clients to understand strategic objectives, payment challenges, customer needs, and money movement priorities.
  • •Develop business cases and value propositions, then structure, negotiate, and support the closing of commercial opportunities while balancing client requirements and Visa objectives.
  • •Maintain an active pipeline with accurate forecasting and partner across product, finance, legal, risk, technology, marketing, and client services to support onboarding and delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years with a PhD.
  • •8–12 years of experience in payments, financial services, fintech, business development, strategic partnerships, product commercialization, sales, or relationship management.
  • •Strong understanding of domestic and cross-border payments and money movement, including RTP, FedNow, ACH, wires, FX, SWIFT, and account-to-account and card-based payments.
  • •Experience working with financial institutions, fintechs, processors, payment service providers, or other participants in the payments ecosystem.
  • •Demonstrated success developing, structuring, negotiating, and closing complex commercial opportunities.
