Job Summary

Support the Credit Manager in overseeing credit and collections for heavy civil construction and related materials operations. Evaluate customer credit risk, review credit limits and payment terms, and analyze AR aging to prioritize collections and improve cash flow. Assist with lien and bond rights, dispute resolution, reserve/bad-debt exposure reviews, and compliance with credit policies. Partner with operations, sales, accounting, project managers, customers, and legal counsel to protect company working capital goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in daily management of credit and collections for assigned business units and customer portfolios.
•Evaluate customer creditworthiness using financial statement analysis, credit reports, and payment trends.
•Review and monitor customer credit limits and payment terms to support risk control and cash flow.
•Support collections activities to minimize overdue accounts and improve DSO and bad-debt performance.
•Assist with lien/bond rights and resolve billing disputes in coordination with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
•3–7 years of progressive experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, or financial analysis.
•Experience in heavy civil construction and/or construction materials (aggregates, asphalt, ready-mix, contracting) (preferred).
•Experience with construction contracts, lien rights, bond claims, and project-based billing (strongly preferred).
•Strong knowledge of commercial credit and collections, including financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment.
