Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform conceptual, FEED, studies, and detailed analyses and mechanical design per design basis, project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • •Prepare detailed design calculations, analyses, and supporting design reports/procedures.
  • •Interface and coordinate with all disciplines and departments to develop clash-free designs and ensure inter-discipline requirements are met.
  • •Manage scope changes by raising change notifications and supporting variation orders, including necessary documentation and estimates.
  • •Provide technical direction, review designers’ mechanical work, assess vendor/subcontractor submittals, and perform design verification including single-discipline and inter-discipline checks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
  • •8-15 years of experience in oil and gas with major contractors or consultants performing detailed design of offshore facilities.
  • •Preferably a Registered Professional or Chartered Engineer, or member of a professional engineering society.
  • •Good English in writing and speaking (B2 level minimum).
  • •Leadership skills to coordinate discipline tasks, with quality- and schedule-conscious work habits.
