Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the legal support to handle all the legal challenges/requirements to enable the business, e.g. contract review & negotiation, form business model with stakeholders, M&A projects, dispute resolution, investigation, crisis handling, etc.
  • •Identify, prevent, and respond to legal and compliance risks in areas such as anti-trust, anti-bribery, healthcare professionals, data security, privacy, export control, etc.
  • •Independently drive projects for best results through comprehensive planning, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement.
  • •Continuously improve the efficiency of legal services and the quality of legal advice to address practical business needs.
  • •Training, implementation, and enforcement of compliance in the organization; coach junior lawyers within the Philips Greater China legal department.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor in Law (Master preferred) with at least 10 years of work experience in legal practice, admitted to PRC Bar.
  • •Strong self-motivation and eagerness to learn new things and take on challenges; excellent communication skills in Chinese and English.
  • •Hybrid experience of in-house and private practice in a multinational company and international law firm preferred.
  • •Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
  • •Ability to lead legal support including contract review and negotiation, M&A projects, dispute resolution, investigations and crisis handling.
