Key Responsibilities

  • •Guide, mentor, and coach direct reports to ensure productive, engaged associates and quality output.
  • •Lead daily production for the assigned value stream, including filing/assembly direction, schedules, and continuous improvement training.
  • •Ensure safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement while monitoring compliance and on-time order completion with finished goods inventory levels.
  • •Perform data collection and provide required metrics/reporting; communicate daily with the Operations Manager and serve as backup as needed.
  • •Drive continuous improvement by solving production issues, reducing waste/changeovers/downtime, conducting root-cause analysis for out-of-spec product, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •5-7 years of experience, including proven supervision of associates in a production environment, preferably in drug and/or cosmetic manufacturing.
  • •Knowledge of production equipment, safe operating techniques, product capabilities, and troubleshooting methods.
  • •Ability to motivate, communicate, and proactively develop associates with teamwork characteristics.
  • •Experience operating in an FDA-GMP environment.
  • •Significant verbal and written communication skills; prefer a 4-year BS/BA in an engineering discipline (other studies considered with relevant experience).
