Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Production and Dispatch to generate and distribute daily production schedules to achieve delivery commitments.
  • •Utilize ERP system capabilities for production scheduling and create/verify Bills-of-Materials for standard and custom products.
  • •Communicate production lead times across the organization and schedule stock/custom products based on capacity, manpower, and min/max inventory levels.
  • •Review and adjust min/max inventory levels, coordinate inventory movement with Dispatch, and identify material shortages to minimize impact.
  • •Lead weekly sales & operations planning meetings and support inventory cycle counting and physical inventory processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or at least two (2) years manufacturing experience in lieu of degree; precast concrete industry experience preferred.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective relationships across the organization.
  • •Experience with change management initiatives related to processes and procedures.
  • •Customer focus and the ability to meet expectations of internal and external customers.
  • •Strong analytical and computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, plus experience with MRP, production scheduling, and inventory control.
