Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead issues and crisis communications strategy and day-to-day response across functions and regions for timely, consistent execution.
  • •Manage and develop the issues communications team and oversee selection, review, and management of agency partners.
  • •Draft proactive and reactive messaging, statements, and content for internal and external audiences on short, unpredictable deadlines.
  • •Counsel senior leaders and functional experts on recommended approaches for responding to sensitive issues.
  • •Own crisis communications playbooks and preparedness efforts, including training communicators, executives, and stakeholders and responding in real time to unexpected issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or related field.
  • •7+ years of experience in corporate communications or public relations, with issues and crisis communications experience strongly preferred.
  • •People management experience with direct reports in a senior role.
  • •Ability to identify and act on emerging issues with initiative.
  • •Strong written and oral communication skills to deliver clear, impactful messages under pressure.
