Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the compliance and risk product roadmap, shipping AML/KYC infrastructure, Travel Rule compliance, account controls, and jurisdictional expansion.
  • •Translate requirements from Compliance and Regulatory Affairs (with Legal and Security input) into specced, sequenced, shipped features.
  • •Maintain full-surface ownership by pulling in the right people and making tradeoff calls when priorities collide.
  • •Prioritize regulatory risk by clarifying what must move first and why when everything feels urgent.
  • •Ensure jurisdictional fluency by sequencing what needs rebuilding market by market versus shared infrastructure.

Key Requirements

  • •Have shipped compliance or risk products in both crypto (Travel Rule, VASP obligations, on-chain monitoring) and traditional finance (AML/KYC, PEP, EDD), with real fluency in both.
  • •Use AI tools daily as a core way to move faster in how product gets built.
  • •Own an end-to-end roadmap, including resourcing, stakeholder alignment, and hard escalations.
  • •Have shipped in multi-jurisdiction, multi-regulator environments and know what differs versus what’s shared infrastructure.
  • •Can diagnose and fix silently broken controls, then build the check to catch the next one.
