Key Responsibilities

  • •Review molded parts pre-grain to ensure mold quality is acceptable to KO grain and provide visual documentation of issues before grain approval.
  • •Review and validate the Pre Grain Approval Sheet from supplier and sign off to start graining of tool.
  • •Coordinate with SQE for shipment of pre-grain and AAR parts for review and assess AAR parts (wrapped, painted, chrome, MIC) against visual and dimensional targets.
  • •Maintain records of parts submitted for grain approval and AAR, and provide visual documentation of issues with supplier/engineer follow-up.
  • •Support complex issue resolution on-site at supplier, assist CMF with color matching, and mentor more junior colleagues as needed.
