Job Summary

Define and drive the long-term product strategy for the CPN Payments Engine, the infrastructure powering payment creation, routing, settlement, and lifecycle management. Own end-to-end payment execution across corridors and rails, improving reliability, performance, extensibility, throughput, latency, and network success rates. Partner with Engineering and influence adjacent systems and external partners to deliver a cohesive, high-performing platform across Circle’s global ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and drive the long-term product strategy for the CPN Payments Engine infrastructure
•Operate as end-to-end owner of payment execution across corridors and rails
•Set vision for reliability, performance, and extensibility and deliver measurable improvements in throughput, latency, and success rates
•Lead cross-functional efforts translating vision into execution with Engineering trade-offs and system design
•Influence adjacent systems and partner integrations to ensure the Payments Engine operates as a cohesive, high-performing platform

Key Requirements

•8+ years of Product Management experience in payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure
•Own complex platform/infrastructure products such as payment engines, settlement systems, or distributed processing systems
•Define and drive strategy for ambiguous, high-impact problems with company-level implications
•Use strong analytical skills to diagnose systemic issues in payment flows; proficiency with SQL or equivalent
•Lead cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Compliance, Operations, and external partners while writing detailed product and technical specifications
