Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the design of structures from inception to completion on bridge-focused projects.
  • •Undertake assessment of existing structures, including analysis and on-site inspection input.
  • •Use industry-leading computer software across structural design, bridge assessment, finite elements analysis, and renewal feasibility studies.
  • •Support structural inspections, structural inspections-based work, and contribute to on-site works supervision.
  • •Assist with scheme management by managing resources and tasks for structural schemes.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or above.
  • •MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering (advantage).
  • •Ability to demonstrate a good technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering and a strong interest in bridge structures.
  • •Willingness and ability to work towards chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
  • •Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong communication in writing and verbally.
