Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS programs for the Jackson plant.
  • •Provide leadership to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local EHS laws.
  • •Translate corporate EHS requirements (audits, reporting, safety initiatives, road map, scorecards, training) into site management systems with site-specific goals.
  • •Partner with corporate EHS leads to run audit programs, ensure findings are resolved/closed, and report results.
  • •Oversee site EHS targets, coordinate annual EHS audits/corrective actions, ensure OSHA compliance standards, and support permits and safety during facility restructuring and major process changes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in health and safety or environmental sciences; Certified Safety Professional (or equivalent) preferred.
  • •Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing or a regulatory government environment.
  • •Detailed knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable EHS standards.
  • •Leadership experience in a metrics-driven, high-accountability environment.
