Job Summary

Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs for the Jackson plant. Lead site compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, translate corporate EHS requirements into site management systems, and partner with corporate EHS on audits and corrective actions. Serve as a technical EHS expert, oversee EHS targets and culture, coordinate audits and permits (including storm water), and support training and facility change safety.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS programs for the Jackson plant.
•Provide leadership to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local EHS laws.
•Translate corporate EHS requirements (audits, reporting, safety initiatives, road map, scorecards, training) into site management systems with site-specific goals.
•Partner with corporate EHS leads to run audit programs, ensure findings are resolved/closed, and report results.
•Oversee site EHS targets, coordinate annual EHS audits/corrective actions, ensure OSHA compliance standards, and support permits and safety during facility restructuring and major process changes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 86,000 - 138,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in health and safety or environmental sciences; Certified Safety Professional (or equivalent) preferred.
•Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing or a regulatory government environment.
•Detailed knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable EHS standards.
•Leadership experience in a metrics-driven, high-accountability environment.
•Strong communication, organization, presentation, project management, and analytical skills.
