Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement a comprehensive Americas benefits strategy aligned with global Total Rewards and local market practices.
  • •Oversee administration of health (medical, dental, vision), retirement (401(k), deferred compensation), tax-advantaged accounts (HSA, FSA), risk coverage, time off, wellness, and leaves of absence.
  • •Lead annual enrollment processes and ensure accurate, timely execution of benefits operations across the region.
  • •Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including ERISA, ACA, and manage required filings and plan documents.
  • •Negotiate and manage vendor relationships, monitor benefits trends for pricing and plan design, and lead due diligence/integration for benefits-related M&A/divestitures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field (master’s preferred).
  • •10+ years in HR, including 5+ years leading benefits and 3+ years managing teams.
  • •Deep expertise in U.S. benefits and retirement plans (401(k) and deferred compensation); Canadian and Costa Rican benefits preferred.
  • •Strong background in designing, administering, and ensuring compliance for health and welfare, retirement, and leave of absence programs.
  • •Experience managing vendor relationships and annual enrollment operations with a compliance focus.
