Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze equipment malfunctions and repair, rebuild, and maintain power equipment such as cranes, paving machines, motor graders, conveyors, bulldozers, pumps, compressors, pneumatic tools, and tracked/wheeled vehicles.
  • •Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects, dismantle and reassemble equipment, and examine parts for damage or excessive wear using measuring tools.
  • •Replace defective engines and subassemblies (such as transmissions) and test overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
  • •Weld broken parts and structural members, and repair, adjust, and maintain mining machinery (e.g., stripping/loading shovels, drilling and cutting machines).
  • •Diagnose trouble across hull and turret components, and educate/provide oversight to non-specialized mechanics to ensure quality services and repairs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 27.38 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •12 years of maintenance experience on a required combat system (Bradley, Tank, Paladin).
  • •Operator level knowledge of system capabilities and procedures to operate combat systems.
  • •Experience in U.S. Army maintenance procedures and AR 750-1.
  • •Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background screening, and obtain and maintain a CAC.
  • •Ability to bring and use own tools.
