Key Responsibilities

  • •Modify, repair, assemble, and install rocket and spacecraft components for Dragon.
  • •Use drawings and tooling instructions to drill, ream, countersink, align, and secure parts to specification.
  • •Disassemble parts and deburr using chip chasers, deburring tools, and files to prepare for fastener installation.
  • •Apply surface treatments, sealants, primers, adhesives, and special finishes, and bond parts using ovens.
  • •Select and install fasteners in correct sequence; handle hazardous materials in approved manner; verify work is complete per drawing/specs.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •1+ years of mechanical/electrical assembly experience.
  • •Willingness to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
  • •Ability to perform repetitive assembly operations and lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
  • •Meet ITAR requirements to be a U.S. citizen/national, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), refugee, asylee, or be eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
