Job Summary

Provide Level 2 security operations for client environments, troubleshooting and resolving virus and intrusion-related incidents. Support firewall issue resolution, perform firewall hardening per MBSS standards, and review/update firewall rules and policy deviations. Manage IPsec VPN scheduling and backups, administer IPS and WAF platforms (capacity and upgrades), monitor IPS signatures, and support DR drills. Also handle core network services and assist with load balancer configuration and NAT.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot virus-related incidents and respond to virus outbreak incidents.
•Escalate and coordinate with specialists/principles to drive problem resolution.
•Alert and notify the location IT team about new viruses and their impact.
•Troubleshoot firewall-related incidents and issues, including firewall hardening per MBSS standards and quarterly rule base reviews.
•Administer IPS and manage servers, including WAF platform administration, capacity and upgrades, and proactively check for latest IPS signatures/service packs.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in the security domain.
•Work experience with firewalls and load balancers (SLB/GSLB).
•Knowledge of common security issues including malware, viruses, ransomware, and host intrusion.
•Knowledge of network protocols.
•Hold relevant certifications such as CCNP/CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
