Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined commercial market, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems. Work on installations and retrofits, using HVAC theory, pipe fitting knowledge, mechanical layouts, and hand tools with modern technology to diagnose and restore equipment. Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers while maintaining strict safety standards.

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs, forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Serve as direct customer contact for assigned projects, ensuring satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Use software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability by recording use, wear, and conditions of company and procured assets.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent; typically 5+ years of HVAC experience (technical school/formal training preferred).
•EPA certification.
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, or preventable collisions).
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with handheld devices such as smartphone or iPad.
•Ability to meet physical and safety requirements (including PPE use, ladder use, and regular lifting/moving requirements).
