Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute independent testing of ITGCs, ITACs, automated controls, and cybersecurity controls, including documenting procedures, sampling, and conclusions.
  • •Evaluate control effectiveness and risks across technology, cyber, operational, regulatory, and data domains; analyze deficiencies, severity, root cause, residual risk, and business impact.
  • •Provide Second Line of Defense oversight and challenge to First Line of Defense stakeholders on control design, implementation, testing, remediation plans, and risk treatment decisions.
  • •Review management action plans, validate corrective actions, challenge insufficient evidence for closure requests, and ensure remediation addresses root causes and risk exposure.
  • •Prepare testing reports and executive risk communications aligned with NIST, COBIT, COSO, FFIEC guidance, and SOX expectations, and drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and quality assurance.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in technology risk management, IT audit, controls testing, cyber risk management, operational risk, or technology compliance in a regulated environment.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, cybersecurity, business, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • •Demonstrated experience performing independent testing of ITGCs, ITACs, automated controls, and cybersecurity controls.
