Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide detailed engineering of compressor packages and auxiliaries in line with international standards (API, ISO, ASME, etc.).
  • •Perform equipment sizing, selection, and detailed engineering of compressor support systems per API standards (drivers, heat exchangers, seal gas heaters, lube oil pumps, instruments, gages, surge control valves/systems, etc.).
  • •Prepare technical documentation including P&ID, datasheets, GA drawings, and other customer-facing documents.
  • •Prepare RFQs and evaluate vendor offers for compressor package auxiliaries (lube oil systems, dry gas seal systems, pressure vessels, control valves, filters, etc.).
  • •Create part numbers and generate Bills of Materials in the ERP system; conduct design reviews, identify risks, and make recommendations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
  • •3+ years of relevant experience in mechanical rotating equipment engineering.
  • •Working knowledge of rotating equipment (compressors, pumps, turbines, etc.) and auxiliary support systems (dry gas seal systems, lube oil systems, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, valves, filters, etc.).
  • •Strong knowledge of applicable industry standards (API-617, API-692, API-614, AGMA, NACE, etc.).
  • •Familiarity with engineering documentation and design standards.
